Size
About 3.5 in (8.9 cm) tall. As a handmade item, exact size depends on the crocheter.
I had to do the tail a few times to get it right, but it was a pretty easy piece. The transition of colors was easier than anticipated with the great tutorials.
So this was my first ever Wooble and first time ever crocheting. Probably not the best choice for first one due to the tail, but everything was broken down really really well in the videos and he came out awesome. Definitely see more kits in my future.
My only complaint, if you even want to call it that because paying attention is part of the problem…is that the written instructions have the tail after the body, then side fins and top fin. And the videos go side fins, top fin, and tail. I was following along with written instructions and was working on the tail while trying to figure out why mine wasn’t matching up with the video. Didn’t take long to get back on track after I figured out what was going on.
Because my job and most other hobbies are in front of a screen, I needed something to do that would take me away from my phone, computer and television! This was the perfect hobby. My friend referred me to Woobles and it's been one of the best ways to learn how to crochet; the videos are straightforward and to the point, the voiceover is calm and relaxing, so it really eases you to learn, and the best part, the Wooble itself is this adorable reward at the end of all of the effort! It's a relatively quick crochet project depending on one's speed and experience, but for me, it's an easy and quick achievement!
Also, they're so cute??? Definitely one of the best and most soothing hobbies I've ever picked up, and this Wooble has been the best way to get into it. I say that as someone with ADHD! I lose interest in things pretty fast, but the nature of the kits is ease and a small project to get that much needed sense of accomplishment!
Also, being surrounded by the fast-paced seriousness of adult life, Woobles are a warm reminder of the fun and peace a person can find in quiet hobbies like this! It's been so good for my mental health. Also I love the use of puns~ I started with Tank because I love sharks ^_^
I love Woobles and I look forward to getting more in the future! @_@
Loved this Wooble - I was a little nervous because it started looking like a snake head, then a dolphin, but I trusted in the process and poof - SHARK!
